Our Instructors
I first trained as a dancer at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance where I graduated with a BA Honours Degree in Ballet and Contemporary Dance and a MA in Advanced Dance with specialisation in Ritual Practice. Pilates and yoga were always a big part of my dance training as we used them to improve our flexibility and strengthen our bodies. When I had completed dance school, alongside dance projects, I trained to become a Pilates instructor and found I loved the job. I love to see my clients improve their strength and flexibility and recover from injuries. I always seek to improve my knowledge and ability through formal training and workshops. I have formal training in both Yoga and Pilates and have specialised in pre and postnatal Pilates and Exercise Referral. I am friendly and approachable as are the clients that come to class and I can promise, you will be met with a warm welcome. I began my career in 2001 in the wellbeing sector as a beauty and massage therapist. I became a lecturer in level 2 and 3 at Burghley Academy in 2004. I absolutely love making people feel good and helping their bodies through stress and tension.
I have always been passionate about fitness. I was a competitive swimmer as a teenager and took up running as an adult. I took part in various running events and assisted coaching the Yaxley runners junior running club.
My passion for fitness saw me become a gym instructor and personal trainer which led to my passion of weight training.
I begam Pilates with Rosie at Swift Pilates in 2022 and found the results incredible for my core strength, mobility and balance. I knew then this was to be my next qualification.
Rosie then asked me to start teaching for her in 2024 and i love instructing for Swift. My classes are friendly, focused and above all fun.
